Benefits of Membership in the Nevada Clay Guild
The primary goal of the Nevada Clay Guild is to inspire excellence and growth in clay art.
We are committed to assisting our members reach personal goals as they pursue their individual creative endeavors.
For this reason, the Guild offers many benefits to members including:
- Workshops led by renowned clay artists, as well as fellow members, to help members build skills – some free, some at minimal charge
- Monthly events whereby members may take part in a variety clay art demonstrations offered by fellow members, participate in group firings, and interact with other clay artists
- Members are invited and encouraged to host events/workshops to share their particular skills with other members
- Occasional potluck dinners and other social events are offered to members
- Members may participate in special Guild shows and sales throughout the year
- Members are invited to participate in juried competitions annually
- Photos of members’ work, and links to personal websites, are available on the “Member Gallery” of the Guild website
- A quarterly newsletter is published for members
- Members may place advertisements in this newsletter, either free, or for a minimal charge, depending on length
- Members contribute to the annual Empty Bowls Benefit of which the Guild is a co-sponsor
- Members receive discounts on selected merchandise purchased at Aardvark Clay and Supplies
- A free Dick Blick Art Materials customer membership (valued at $10) is available to members
