The terms of the current Board of the Nevada Clay Guild are ending April 30, 2016. The following offices need to be filled:
- Vice President
The Board meets 4 to 6 times a year to manage the business of the Guild and to create a calendar of activities for Guild members. “Our mission is to inspire excellence and growth in clay through education, exhibitions, and a cooperative spirit.”
We are in need of new board members. Many of our current board members have served for two or three terms. Our efforts on behalf of the Nevada Clay Guild are in a volunteer capacity. They are intended as service. They are necessary for the Nevada Clay Guild to maintain its nonprofit status.
Nominations are open at this time. They will close on April 1, 2016.
SASE ballots and anonymous email ballots will be sent out not later than April 5, 2016.
Members who have PC capability will vote using Survey Monkey. Members without PC capability will receive a hard copy of the ballot in the mail.
Emails/snail mail ballots will be due to Rita by April 14, 2016 (in order to satisfy a Nevada regulation to guarantee that a certain percentage of the organization votes, any member’s ballot that is not received by the due date will constitute a vote for the candidate with the most votes).
The new slate of officers is to be submitted to the State by April 28, 2016.
Please send your nomination to me at by clicking the link. If you would like to serve as a Board member of the Nevada Clay Guild, you may nominate yourself.
Nominations will close on April 1, 2016.
