Raku Social and Meeting hosted by Kareen Balch. Bring a bisqued and glazed stoneware or raku clay piece to fire in Kareen’s kiln. It is best to glaze your piece at least a day in advance. Use cone 06 glazes. If you don’t have access to glazes, make arrangements with Kareen to come over the day before, or much earlier in the day to glaze so there will be more drying time. Decal Seminar hosted by Kareen Balch and Audrey Benton. Be prepared to bring fired pieces (any temperature) of pottery (handmade, or purchased) to apply the decals to. Empty Bowl Benefit. - Tell your friends, and come out and support this charitable event! Purchase a bowl, enjoy all the soup you can eat, and participate in a silent auction. Proceeds go to feeding the hungry through Las Vegas Catholic Worker. Volunteers needed to help run the event : contact Donna Potter at 461-3398. Located at Warm Springs & Arroyo Grande; park in front of the school and follow signs to the cafeteria.

Our meetings are usually scheduled for the first Saturday of the month from 5 - 8 p.m., so feel free to mark them in your calendar beyond what we have listed above.
