Tom Turner works exclusively with his wheel thrown high fired porcelain. Fifty years of Ceramic Art study and development brings to you beautiful classical and contemporary art pottery. His pottery is ageless and survives the test of time. The pots are more decorative than functional, but their greatest function is visual appreciation, the same as a painting. His work is about “attention to detail”, you should take the time to really look closely, to see the work intimately. Turner attempts to make pots that are “exquisite and beautiful”. Work is in over 30 books written in 7 countries, many magazines, museums across the country including the National Museum of American Art at the Smithsonian Institution, American Museum of Ceramic Art, Pomona, Ca., The Everson Museum of Art, Syracuse, NY, to name a few. International Museums include The Taipei Fine Arts Musem, Taipei, Taiwan, Sanbao Ceramic Art Institute, Jingdezhen, China, ZhouGuozhen Pottery Museum, Anren, China.
