Workshop Pieces Ready for Pick-up

Dear Workshop Participants!

We have good news.... our pieces have been fired and unloaded!   Please stop by Pottery West at your convenience and pick up your pieces.  They are located outside in the back, on the shelf across from the sink.

Unfortunately, there were a few pieces that cracked, but as we all know, one can never predict if our clay pieces will make it all the way through the process.  Our apologies for any cracked pieces, and we sincerely hope that you will continue to work the processes you learned and will turn out fabulous pieces of art that will forever will be enjoyed.

Last, we'd like to extend an extra "thanks" to Derek, who diligently volunteered to fire our pieces and unload the kiln....and an even bigger "thanks" to Amy for allowing us to use her beautiful facility for this event!

On behalf of the entire Wandless Workshop team (Suann, Shari, Sharon & I) we thank you once again for participating!!!!
Cheers!

Image Transfer on Clay Workshop

A note from Paul Andrew Wandless:

Hello All-

Sorry this took so long.  After I flew home from Vegas, I had finals week at school and then I did another workshop this past weekend in Lawrence, KS for Bracker's Good Earth Clay.  Now I finally had a chance to input all the emails from our workshop.

I had a great time and want to thank the Nevada Clay Guild for bring me out and Pottery West for being a great host venue.  I especially appreciate those who drove several hours to come.  I hope you all had a good time and learned something that you can use in the future or teach someone else.
I attached my suppliers list along with a few articles I wrote for Pottery Making Illustrated.  I also included some websites/organizations that I mentioned for you to consider joining or subscribing that I find useful and rewarding.

If we spoke about something specific individually that needs following up on, please email me and refresh my memory!  Workshops are such a blur of activity, I don’t always remember all the conversations I have.  If you want to email me your snail mail or website I’ll update my records with it and put you on my mailing list.  I will also email you updates occasionally on my upcoming activities and keep you updated on new suppliers, etc. as I come across new ones I like.

Thanks again for taking the workshop and I hope you had a great time and learned some new things that you can apply to your work.

take care
Paul
